TH604 Anti-Slip Coating

Most fabricators purchase sheet metal that has been pre-coated with anti-slip material before any manufacturing takes place. That sheet then goes through cutting, welding, forming, galvanizing, and handling — all processes that damage or degrade the anti-slip coating before the finished product ever reaches the customer. The result is what you see installed in streets and facilities every day: peeling, compromised anti-slip surfaces that look as bad as they perform.

We apply our Thermion SafTrax TH-604CF anti-slip coating post-manufacturing — after all fabrication, welding, and galvanizing is complete. Every surface that leaves our Kent, WA facility is coated, tested, and protected. The product you receive is the product that was designed.

SafTrax TH-604CF is a molten-metallization anti-slip coating manufactured by Thermion Inc. using an aluminum/aluminum oxide (Al/Al2O3) wire formulation. The TH-604CF designation indicates a chromium-free formulation, which Buyken uses exclusively — offering superior environmental and worker safety performance without any sacrifice in grip, bond strength, or durability.

All Thermion coating is performed at our Kent, WA facility in a dedicated, purpose-built coating work cell equipped with a track system for controlled, consistent throughput.
