MIL PRF-24667 Approved

We apply our SafTrax TH-604CF anti-slip coating post-manufacturing — after all cutting, welding, and handling is complete. Most fabricators buy pre-coated sheet material and hope the end product isn't too beat up or compromised by the time it reaches their customer after going through cutting, welding, galvanizing, and handling operations. The result is what you see in the field every day — peeling, damaged anti-slip surfaces that look as bad as they perform.

✓  Buyken · SafTrax Thermion Coating
Applied after all manufacturing is complete — zero process damage
Blasted surface prep ensures maximum adhesion (2,000 psi bond)
Adjustable texture via air supply — dialed to the application
Top coat sealer applied over coating for durability
Parts palletized on plastic standoffs — cosmetically perfect
Chrome-free TH-604CF available for enhanced safety & compliance
VS
❌  Pre-Coated Sheet Stock (Others)
Anti-slip applied at the sheet level — before manufacturing
Coating damaged by laser/plasma cutting operations
Coating damaged by welding and part handling
Galvanizing operations degrade the anti-slip surface
Partial peel & cosmetic damage common — visible in the field
Customer receives a compromised product they didn't ask for
The Difference Is Visible — Post-Process vs. Pre-Coated Sheet

Coating Advantages
  • ★
    Military-Grade Performance Meets/exceeds NAVY/NAVSEA MIL PRF-24667 — the toughest anti-slip standard in use
  • ◆
Dual-Duty Protection Simultaneously provides anti-slip and corrosion protection — equal to pure aluminum coating
  • ▲
Exceptional Peel Resistance 2,000 psi bond strength — won't peel, flake, or delaminate like pre-coated sheet products
  • ●
    Zero VOCs — Chrome-Free Option TH-604CF (chrome-free) version available for eco-sensitive and safety-critical applications
  • ■
Adjustable Texture & Zero Cure Air supply controls surface profile; zero cure time means immediate turnaround after coating
  • ✦
In-House Coefficient of Friction Testing We perform COF testing on our doors in-house to validate process controls and confirm every product meets specification before it ships
Ideal Applications
  • ✓
Utility Vault Doors & Frames Our core application — including standard diamond plate doors offered with or without anti-slip coating
  • ✓
Manhole Covers & Castings Applied to cast iron, ductile iron, and other castings requiring anti-slip and corrosion resistance
  • ✓
Aluminum Diamond & Smooth Plate Walkways, ramps, decking, and platform surfaces requiring durable non-skid performance
  • ✓
Marine & Industrial Decking Resistant to oils, fuels, and salt water — ideal for boat decks, ladders, and scaffolding
  • ✓
Vehicle & Equipment Ramps Car/truck ramps, forklift loading ramps, and aircraft landing areas — where grip is non-negotiable
